We stay locked up inside if we refuse to get help.

“Emotions are like friends if you’re not hospitable when they come around then they’ll stop coming around” Daniel Golder

We must swallow our pride.

When that thing inside us that says,

‘I don’t need help.’

I don’t need people.’

I can do it myself.’

When we deny we need help, we’ll then

That’s called denial.

When we ‘stuff down’ all of our emotions, sadness and grief, it doesn’t go away like we hope it will, but instead it overflows into other areas of our life and causes other problems.

It can only cause us more harm.

We have to ask:

“Do we not value our self enough?”

We have to ask this.

And then I have to ask myself again

Do I value myself enough to think I deserve the help that I need?

Does it really truly matter what causes the pride that keeps us from reaching out to others.

I think not.

And that’s not really the point anyway

If we weigh out how important we are

to others

how important we are to ourself

And If we have children, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, spouse friend, aunt, uncle, mom, dad then guaranteed we are important to somebody.

The only one that truly cares about you the way no one else can care is YOU.

I am convinced that you matter.

We are convinced.

You be convinced.

You are worth it.

I was a hospice nurse and transitioning into procuring plants. I no longer care for the sick. I’m now taking care of me. Learning to live amongst the living.
