The Food List — cancer free

If this is a choice between taste and life, what will you choose? Ken chose life! It’s important to take note of the timing learning about these healthy foods, especially as these two stories between Ken and Jesse merge. The foods Ken learned to eat will be important for Jesse at some point too. It’s Ironic how it all happened. Each of these specific foods play an important role in both of their lives and I hope not to miss any of the small stuff. Being diligent about the details will hopefully bring this all together and eventually be the completed story that it was meant to be. I figure if Ken can eat it then I can write it. Writing is much easier for me than throwing back a shot of Essiac tea in the mornings (it tastes like mud).
Ken had been eating like this straight for about 10 days at the time he went back to get his bone marrow biopsy done. The results from the test finally came back a week later (waiting for biopsy results seems like an eternity) and the doctor said they were ‘Remarkable.’ Trust me, you always want to hear your doctor use the word Remarkable! He told ken there was NO CANCER in his blood. He said that the first initial chemotherapy treatment Ken had in the ICU wouldn’t have been enough to give him these dramatic results. Then he followed up his statement by telling us that he really couldn’t explain it. Ken said to his doctor, “I’m pretty sure these results are from all of the prayer and the radical nutrition.” The doc ended the conversation by saying, “it must have been from that one chemotherapy treatment.” It was the doctor’s reply at that moment that clearly revealed to both of us the huge gap that exists between western medicine and holistic healing. Until that moment, I truly had no idea how giant this gap really was, and I had no idea how intense everything would get over the next 5 and a half months. We would soon realize this was the big black hole left to be explored.
The foods I’ve listed here are specifically for Ken at the time, according to his lab work and what his body needed. Although this varies from person to person, most of the foods listed are what I eat as well. For the most part, these are just good — healthy — organic — nutritious — non GMO — free range — fermented — healthy bacteria — microbe — raw — local foods that all of us would benefit from eating anyway. However, there are some specific things that are recommended for Ken’s body. For example, Essiac tea. It’s a powerful concoction that was invented by a Native American back in the late 1800’s, and it definitely has it’s own story. Essiac tea isn’t necessarily advised for everybody and not always in the amounts that Ken uses. So just be aware there a few of those things are listed here. I strongly encourage people to do their own research.
THE MUNDANE BEGINS:
I will list some of the recipes and also the brands, but feel free to request them in the comments below and I can email you as well. Brands are very important, especially if it’s a local one or a brand of higher quality. Most everything can be found at your local high quality health food stores like Whole Foods, New seasons, public grocers, fresh corner markets, H-mart etc..
Bone broth (Chicken, beef, fish). You can make this in a crock pot, Insta pot, or just on the stove top the way our grandmothers used to cook it. It all depends on how long you want it to take but there are no right or wrong ways, these are all good ways of making it.
Chicken bone broth — I put a whole organic chicken in the Insta pot, add Baja salt, organic pepper, 1 organic yellow onion quartered, fresh thyme and a cup of filtered water then cook it for 30 minute on high pressure in the Insta pot. Once the chicken is cooked and cooled off, take off all of the meat and set it aside to be added to soup or salads later. Add back into the pot the rest of the bones, the skin, six organic carrots leave on the tops, 6 celery stalks, 6 chicken feet (its where you get the collagen), fill up the pan almost to the top with filtered water. cook on high pressure for 120 minutes. After it deUse a potato masher or wire whisk to small it all to nearly soup. strain out any solids and pour the broth into jars. Put it in the fridge once it cools down. I usually have about 4–5 jars to last all week for soups. It’s amazing.
Serving the Soup — bone broth, add chicken add sauerkraut add fresh spinach leaves add Parmesan cheese add mushrooms. This is sooo delicious!!
Sauerkraut — (Bubbies) eat this daily and drink shots of the juice as well.
Essiac tea — we order it from a specific location — Brian that lives in the midwest.
MUSHROOMS (Four Sigmatic) the best place to get is online. Add it in coffee, tea, salads, soups, smoothies. Usually about 1/4–1/2 tsp per serving. Www.foursigmatic.com
BULLET COFFEE — brew organic coffee, add butter, coconut oil, vital proteins, mushrooms, date syrup for sweetener and blend.
BULLET Yerba matte tea-make it same exact as coffee. Don’t drink it super hot.
*Drink warm rather than super hot or super cold. The temperature of what you put in your mouth and down your throat plays a key role in the battle of cancer.
Arugula, Kale, Spinach are all great for smoothies, salads and put in bone broth soup.
Fresh raw parmesan cheese. Sprinkle on soups, salads or on anything. Organic goat cheese and feta as well.
Raw milk, Raw yogurt, Raw local honey.
Organic whole chicken for bone-broth.
Organic Grass-Fed Beef liver. Raw. Liver feeds liver. Use capsules if you dont want to swallow it raw.
Sourdough organic bread (not just any but the best kind, fresh in the bakery sections of whole foods and new seasons).
Butter — (Kerry gold) unsalted for the bullet coffee.
Salt (Baja) — you can order it online — It’s mined from the Sea of Cortez.
Oregano oil — Rub it on feet at bedtime — it’s a good detoxer.
Probiotics — (Thrive) is the best one, you can order it online.
Organic coconut oil — (Dr Bronners is the best!) put it in coffee and tea. Use it to ‘oil pull’ in your mouth first thing in the morning for 15 minutes.
Turmeric morning drink — drink this first thing in the morning before anything else goes into your stomach. It’s a morning neutralizing drink. 1 cup hot water, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 squeezed lemon, 3 tsp. apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp salt.
Pineapple Core — Bromide is in the core and full of antioxidants. You can blend in a green smoothie.
Lemon water — organic lemons.
Dill -use to make some fresh probiotic dip
Carrot juice organic — drink it once daily.
Red wine and Dark chocolate- 89% cacao.
Toothpaste (Toms) organic Deodorant (Toms) organic It’s important to use these things as organic — Be All In!
Beer (rye) — specific for kens lymphoma And potato vodka.
Vital collagen proteins — 2 scoops in your coffee or tea.
Smoothies — fresh greens and fruits — keep it simple. 3 ingredients is plenty. Blueberries and mangos are great too.
Cashew butter — Mac nuts-Almond butter not peanut butter.
Garlic honey fermented.
Enzymes — Spleen and Pancreatic. (ken orders these from specific online for his specific health concern).
Essential oils (to many to list, but very important to the healing so eventually I will post them all here as well).
Herbs — Fresh, rosemary, dill, thyme (the thyme goes in the bone broth when cooking it).
Beet kvass — It’s easy to make, use 3 organic beets, chunk them up, divide evenly into a couple jars, 1/4 cup sauerkraut juice, 2 tsp. Baja salt. Fill jars with filtered water. Put a cheese cloth over the top for 48 hours then refrigerate. It’s a great pre-biotic, it helps with digestion. Gutt health is everything.
Bee pollen — Local, and eat it throughout the day.
Coconut pulling — you can alternate with different types of oils. Put a tsp. in your mouth first thing when you wake up, hold and swish for 5–20 minutes. sesame — coconut — castor oil
Cook with avocado oil and coconut oil. Use olive oil for salads. AVOID spray cooking oils in cans (can be cancer causing) Read ingredients.
*Don’t use anything with CANOLA oil. This oil has lots of contraindications with it. I’ve found it’s in everything. This will eliminate a lot of foods from your diet. Eileen was quick to mention that eating canola oil is similiar to ingesting rat poisoning.
Enemas twice a day — Alternate every few days using castor oil, aloe oil and plain grass-fed yogurt (coffee enemas are good too). Also, put castor oil on a warm towel and place it on your belly during enema, it helps detox and will help excrete liver flukes if there are any.
Avoid: wheat, grain, oats, sugar, peanut butter. no artificial flavor or color, preservatives, packaged food. Avoid breads unless it’s rye or sourdough. No canola oil or aerosol oils. (hardcore — Avoid using foil, plastic and the microwave).
*think about what has a high content of natural sugars and limit it too, such as: strawberries, apples, carrots, bananas.
I Love how Eileen keeps things simple by saying,
“IF GOD MADE IT, EAT IT! IF MAN MADE IT, DON’T EAT IT!”
+disclaimer, this is not a formula for anyone to say it takes away cancer. I believe because my husband chose to adopt this most healthy lifestyle for as long as he did is precisely why he lived longer than he was suppose to. After 7 years of battling off and on Lymphoma, he went home to be with the Lord this past September 2021. I still strongly believe that because of prayer and his committed diligence to disciplined eating, we truly were blessed to have more time with him for a few extra years. We love you kenny joe and I cant wait to see you again in heaven!
