she texts me, “Praying over and over that we can surrender anxiety and control every hour of the day starting with our first breath and let God’s peace pour into our body, mind and soul.

“Yesterday’s sermon talked about how people who annoy us are never the enemy.

“We are to pray for them. God gave us people and community from the beginning. Community with people and with him to glorify him.

“The devil is so deceiving and convinces us that other people are the problem, but it’s a fight with the enemy not with people.

Sin is birthed from deception. How is he deceiving you? The enemy has no claim on us.”

Replied. A M E N ! ! !

“When we understand and accept the truth about our Sin, we can better understand the meaning of the cross, the reason for the cross — the purpose of the cross.

3rd person, “Yes but, how can a loving God send people to hell?”

“I don’t believe in hell, or in the devil for that matter.

Responder, “A lot of people are hung up and distracted by this question.

And quite frankly…

They are missing the whole message of sin and what Christ did for us on the cross.

“When people underestimate the devil. How he is a very real being, it leaves them vulnerable and blind to truth.

The truth about sin will always lead people to the cross.

That is the entire message of the gospel. This is what I told grandpa on his deathbed.

“This is how I always pray for our family!!

We must not allow the enemy to lie to us about our sin.

“The enemy is a liar and a thief. He’s a filthy and vial accuser who doesn’t want us to believe he even exists.

Because think about it… if he doesn’t exists then that changes a lot of the story.

“He especially doesn’t want us to know about sin, and he definitely doesn’t want us to understand or even think about the sacrifice that God made with his only son on the cross.

“Can you tell me more about the meaning of the cross?”

Response, “CERTAINLY!”
